Nature South East

In 2018, a new network of nature partnerships in the South East was established. The South East Nature Partnership brings together Sussex Nature Partnership, Kent Nature Partnership, Surrey Nature Partnership, Hampshire and Isle of Wight Nature Partnership, Essex Nature Partnership, Oxfordshire Nature Partnership, Berkshire, and Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes Natural Environment Partnership and is still growing.

Now Nature South East, we will be rebranding ourselves soon.

We wish Caroline Jessel all the best as she steps down from her role as Chair. We thank her for years of dedication and expertise which has made SENP what it is today. Sarah Jane Chimbwandira, Chief Executive at Surrey Wildlife Trust will be stepping up as Chair from 2024.

Kent County Council along side Surrey Nature Partnership provide the secretariat support along with members of SENP. The SENP has now been established formally as a Community Interest Company and is seeking funding to develop the regional nature recovery.
