We are currently actively looking to engage with people from all sectors in Surrey who are interested in working with us to achieve common goals. Please get in touch and talk to us about how we can work together.
HEALTH AND WELL-BEING
The natural environment already delivers great value-for-money healthcare – for every £1 invested in a Walking for Health programme, £7.18 worth of health benefit is delivered1. If you work in the healthcare sector, please get in touch.
BUSINESS
The acute impacts of biodiversity loss on the economy were highlighted in the National Ecosystems Assessment (NEA) in 2011. Responsible economic growth will help to achieve a sustainable and prosperous Surrey.
LOCAL GOVERNMENT AND POLITICIANS
Many of our members have extensive experience in advising local authorities on their legal duties and responsibilities. We also welcome support and advice from local authorities and local politicians who are interested in our work.
EDUCATION
Contact with nature provides an incentive for children to engage in healthy outdoor exercise, which in return reduces anxiety and disruptive behaviour. In addition, activities such as out-door learning can add context to classroom learning.
OTHER LOCAL NATURE PARTNERSHIPS
We are keen to work with other local partnerships. Please get in touch and tell us about your current priorities and goals.
COMMUNICATIONS
We are keen to engage with local community groups and charities from all sectors and causes.
