Surrey Local Nature Recovery Strategy

Geographical workshop series report

We really appreciate the valuable contributions of our attendees made during the two series of workshops held across Surrey last year. These efforts have been crucial in shaping the future of nature recovery in our region.

Following the conclusion of the second series of Geographical Workshops across the East, West, and North localities of Surrey, a comprehensive report has been created. This report consolidates all the outputs generated in these sessions and is now being used to inform the priority and secondary outcomes for the draft Surrey Nature Recovery Strategy.

We are pleased to announce that these outcomes are nearing completion and will be formally consulted on during late Spring 2025. This consultation will provide an opportunity for all participants and the wider public to review and comment on the proposed outcomes and measures to address the Vision for Nature in Surrey.

We value continued engagement and look forward to receiving feedback during the consultation period. Together, we can make a significant impact on the future of Surrey’s natural environment.
